Head Trainer and Rider

At the age of 4 Amara took a summer riding camp and immediately fell in love with riding. Ever since, she has dedicated her life to creating a successful riding career with a goal of representing team Canada. She spent her junior years Eventing. Learning from Canadian Team riders Karl Slezak and Jessica Phoenix. By the age of 17 she was competing successfully at the FEI CIC** level.

In 2015, Amara decided to make the switch to the hunter/jumper world. She moved to Europe to ride with Grand Prix jumper Nina Fagerstrom and to further her knowledge of the industry. Since being back in North America, Amara has taken multiple horses to the Modified Grand Prix Level. She currently is working on developing a string of horses that she hopes will take her to the next level.

In addition to Amara’s equestran experience, she is also a graduate of the Fitness and Lifestyle Management program at Algonquin College.

Kianna started riding and competing in the hunters at a young age. At the age of 14 she received her first grooming job. Many of her adolescent years were spent riding and learning the ins and outs of being a competition groom for riders such as Colleen Howard and Adam Hickey. As a young adult Kianna had the opportunity to join Amara in Europe as a groom for she and Nina. During that time Kianna learned high performance horse care and gained experience grooming for FEI competitions. Kianna still takes every opportunity to better her knowledge. She displays excellent attention to detail and offers impeccable horse care.

Property Manager and Groundskeeper

Josh joined the team in 2020 after helping to build Lone Meadow Stables. With his background of growing up on his family farm and working in construction, he brings valuable skills and knowledge to maintaining Lone Meadow and managing our agricultural ventures.
